Attendance & Fee Tracking Dashboard
This dashboard was built for a real daycare client using Power BI, connected directly to their ProCare system. The main challenge was that the director had been manually tracking which parents dropped off their kids early or picked them up late — a process that was taking too much time and causing delays in other responsibilities.
On top of that, they were starting to miss out on fees that should have been charged, which meant money was being left on the table every week.
With this solution, everything became visual and automated. The director can now instantly see how many kids arrived early or left late, which classrooms tend to have more of those cases, and what time parents are usually coming and going. The dashboard even calculates total fee charges by child automatically.
The dashboard shows total kids enrolled (86), non-care kids (30), and total fee charges recovered ($1,950) in the top KPI row. The daily fee charges trend line tracks revenue day by day. The classroom breakdown on the right identifies Primary A as the highest late-pickup classroom at 27.47%. Bottom charts show early sign-in patterns before 8:45 AM and late sign-out patterns after 4:15 PM — all updated automatically from ProCare.
